RFID in laundry

RFID in laundry: an implementation example for RFID, Auto ID or mobile data capture.

Laundry system using RFID technology

The development of radio wave communication technology (RFID) has made it applicable in new fields. One of them is laundries and their laundry systems.

The laundry room meets all the requirements for RFID technology to work exceptionally well. A large amount of clothes, clothes, items, and their frequent replacement and, of course, contact with water and various other chemicals, as well as the transport of goods to and from hospitals and workplaces. All this seems to be an extremely logistically difficult and tedious undertaking, but it can be mastered with one application.

The ASKA Pralnia application uses RFID technology and the fact that tags can be ironed into clothes. This significantly reduces the risk that the tag will fall off and the clothing will be difficult to identify. ASKA Pralnia aims to facilitate and automate the work of the laundry.  It allows you to monitor the assortment at every stage, from issuing clothes for washing, through their transport and stay in the laundry, ending with their delivery to specific employees' lockers or other designated places. Please note that reports are generated at each stage, which reduce the risk of errors and allow you to control specific items of clothing.

ASKA Pralnia has a customer database in which clothes are assigned to specific departments and employees. Additionally, you can obtain information about when a given garment has returned from washing, or how many pieces of a given type of clothing are in the laundry or in the factory. Conducting such tasks manually is an extremely difficult and error-prone task that can be easily automated. Moreover, the program can be tailored to the client's individual requirements, so that its interface and functionalities make work as easy as possible.
